the round, black island hood becomes a focal point in the space. walnut-stained and smokey blue base cabinets maintain a mid-century vibe and create a beautiful juxtaposition that further emphasizes the marriage of classic style to contemporary features.

intending to make the kitchen feel original to the house, we chose materials based on functionality and their vintage vibe. terrazzo tile, a three-dimensional backsplash, flat panel cabinets, matte black finishes, and cream-colored quartz with an angular waterfall bring this kitchen to life.
the wall between the dining room and kitchen was eliminated to create a more inviting space.
