coming soon to colorado springs; a hybrid cafe-workspace! we've taken the shell of this classic building and created an outdoor experience with a variety of seating arrangements.
the interior will feature work pods that encourage energy and productivity with views to the greenhouse and beyond!
we developed a design that is ADA compliant and considerate of human connection with spaces that support interaction but are also aesthetically interesting. a nice feature of this patio setting are linear concrete fireplaces that will be perfect for those cooler days and nights. mutiple levels define different spaces which are all accessible by an experiential ramp that leads you around the courtyard and to the heart of it.
the exterior stucco color remains but the facade gets altered with large glass sections and the addition of nichiha panel cladding that will create a contemporary look while maintaining the integrity of the old guardian building. artisan wall murals will adorn certain sections and introduce a punch of color.
