out with the oak
we transformed many rooms in this home (kitchen, living room, basement, master ensuite, powder room, and a multi use space) to bring it into the 21st century. the red oak flooring is the only thing that remains which provides the perfect balance to the neutral color palette found throughout the home; it all balances out to create a unique living experience.

a bland basement that saw no use was transformed into a functional & interesting entertainment space.
the bottom step of the stairs was curved and extended the length of the basement to create a pedestal platform for the fireplace feature wall. this seamless wall feature includes an inset tv, gas fireplace, and a gorgeous penny tile bookshelf which is also featured on the riser. the curved pedestal offers modernity while the tape lights under the step set the ambiance.

this dated living room features oak everywhere and it had to go. we removed the red pack paneling, popcorn from the ceilings and gave it a fresh coat of paint.
our client’s smokey blue artwork inspired the redesign of this living room. we used this color as an accent throughout the home and paired it with a neutral color palette of “blacks,” “grays,” and “whites.” we also created a curved-tiled walkway leading from the bar to the exterior slider out to their deck.

basic and boring, and outfitted in oak. we turned this space into a statement that can’t be ignored.
we rebuilt the wet bar and created a custom wine bar with new countertops, backsplash, and a custom-built, ceiling-mounted metal and glass shelving.

the kitchen was reconfigured to create a connection to the living room with seating, an additional prep sink, and more cabinets for storage.
we added a chevron tiled backsplash all the way to the ceiling and this new feature stands as the focal point of the kitchen.

we knocked out the wall between the kitchen and living room to connect the space and mimicked the curved steps on the other side to offer cohesion to the design.
the two-toned blue and gray cabinets balance each other out while the white quartz countertops uplift the look and adds a sense of bright, airiness.

we removed the wall of mirrors and 80s oak cabinetry and replaced them with gold accented mirrors. we removed the dated wallpaper and replaced it with a fresh coat of white paint to brighten up the space.
the master bath was reconfigured to include a room for the toilet and features an oversized shower of floor to ceiling 32 x 18 dark italian marble tile. the freestanding bathtub with floor-mounted delta tub filler makes a contemporary statement. pendant lights and vessel sinks complete the upgrade of this master ensuite.

this was a bland and outdated space with old fluorescent lighting and uninteresting beige colorado tiles.
we made this space functional and elegant by adding additional storage, gorgeous white quartz countertops and fresh paint throughout. we made their serving pantry a feature by including privacy glass to showcase their fine dishware. chrome finishes add sophistication to this multi-use space.

our clients opted to have their laundry appliances moved to the basement to create space for coats and things!
this is a light and airy multi-use space transformation. we installed a laundry shoot to accommodate our client's request to move their appliances and added seating and a utility sink.
